Reiki Energy Healing

Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) means ‘universal energy’

It is a natural healing art and spiritual practice founded in Japan by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century.

This spiritual healing technique, is based on the belief that “life force energy” flows through us. It is a non invasive hands-on treatment that involves the transfer of energy from the practitioner to the client and enhances the body’s natural ability to heal itself through the balancing of this life force energy.

Reiki is gentle and deeply relaxing, bringing balance to your mind, body and spirit.

What happens during a treatment?

On arrival I will ask you to complete a short form to gather your information and we will have a brief chat to discuss any concerns or answer any questions you may have.

It is important that you feel comfortable and relaxed during your treatment, so I would advise you to wear loose comfortable clothing. You will remain fully clothed during the treatment.

For your treatment you will lie on a padded treatment couch or if you would feel more comfortable, you can be seated. Your comfort and needs are always my main consideration.

Before the session begins, I will scan your energy field by placing my hands over your body. This will tell me where there are areas within your energy fields that may need healing. I will then place my hands above or lightly over your body to commence the flow of Reiki. Reiki will always go to where it is needed most whether it is mental, physical and/or spiritual. Most reiki sessions last for approximately 1 hour although your first appointment may take slightly longer.

£38 - 60 minute session
